En çok As Time Goes By dizisindeki Mrs. Bale rolüyle ve Dennis Potter televizyon oyunu Stand Up, Nigel Barton (1965) ve Potter'ın The Singing Detective (1986) dizisindeki öğretmen rolüyle tanınır.
